The Medi-Cal Learning Community (MCLC) is a collaborative initiative from the First 5 Center for Children’s Policy designed to support First 5 commissions in navigating California’s evolving Medi-Cal landscape. As Medi-Cal increasingly emphasizes community partnerships, children’s preventive care, and health equity, First 5s are uniquely positioned to partner with managed care plans on shared priorities.
